  The food was AMAZING and the portions were generous. We ordered the seafood stew, fish po boy sandwich and the apple and squash soup. All tasted so so fresh and amazing. Our waitress was really nice as well and very welcoming. It's too bad we were only visiting but if I got the chance I'd definitely come back!

  The food was awesome, especially the mussels in wine and garlic. Also had the fishcakes and Cajun seafood stew. The service was outstanding.

  Amazing food. We asked a local outside the row of restaurants which one she recommended. The Grand Banker was her fisrt choice. I had the Acadian style Cajun stew. It was amazing. I'd drive an hour again just to have that stew.
  
  Great service. Plenty of ambiance. Totally recommend it.

  Fantastic. Food was brilliant. I had the scallops and they were absolutely incredible. Even the mashed potatoes are worth writing about, and how often cam you say that?
  
  Mussels were bro good too, and it was an extremely generous portion.
  
  We liked it gets so much we went twice in 24hours.

  Very good chowder and fish-cakes. Good selection of local beers and ciders. Staff was very friendly. Even the owner dropped by to chat about cider.
  
  A great spot to stop and recharge while exploring Lunenburg. We went on a sailboat tour after lunch, and returned to the Grand Banker afterward to take the chill off with some coffee.
